1) What's something about yourself that fans may not know.

A: I’ve been writing songs since the age of 6 or 7, and the first time I ever performed was when I was 4 at my school talent show! I’m currently studying Popular Music Studies at Western University. Another thing they might not know is before I started releasing both EDM and indie-pop music, I top-lined a bunch of independent producers EDM tracks anonymously.

2) What made you want to start producing music?

A: I think it’s just always been something that I’ve loved and wanted to do! I’ve always been super creative, so writing songs helped me deal with emotions from a very young age. When you write songs, they can serve as many things. It can be a story, it can be a wish, it can be an admission, it really can be anything! Seeing a song transform from the initial demo to the final project has something magical about it.

3) How did being discovered by a Brazilian record label help you grow in your career?

A: I think being discovered by Reven Beats really helped me expand as an artist. It was the first time that I wasn’t putting music out by myself, so having their support really helped. I met so many amazing people and Cris & Bernardo are extremely supportive. They offer advice on my music that is super valuable. I’ve been working with them for a few years now and I’m super appreciative of all their support, and can’t wait for other projects with REVEN to keep coming out. It’s so surreal to see huge groups of people dancing to my songs at concerts, raves and clubs, and I couldn’t have done that without them.

4) What was your inspiration behind your latest single 'Ready to Love You?'

A: Ready to Love You is written from the perspective of not being ready to open yourself up to love, and wanting to still take time for yourself. It can be a pretty unnerving experience, the back and forth, thinking you’re ready for something when you aren’t. I wrote the song from a viewpoint of realizing this. I also wanted some 80s synth pop influences in the track, and I’m super happy with how it turned out!

5) How does it feel to see support on a single after it comes out?

A: It feels amazing! So much hard work goes on behind the scenes when preparing for a release, and it truly takes a village. When a single gets support, it feels like all the work that goes into it is paying off. It’s super exciting, and motivates me for the next releases.

6) How important is it to relate to people in your music when it comes to relationships?

A: I would say it’s pretty important, because I feel like I write about a lot of universal experiences. I want people to be able to relate my songs back to their own lives. I know a lot of the time when I listen to music it can act as an emotional release, and I want to be able to do that for others.

7) What's in the plans for you for 2022?

A: In 2022 I’m going to be releasing my EP! I’ve been working on it for a few years now, and it’s finally all coming together. I have a lot planned for it, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone. It’s my favourite project I’ve worked on to date.
