1) What's something about yourself that people may not know?

A: I love learning about how our brains work, and I’m super passionate about growth. My side hustle is coaching people to become their best self!

2) When did you first get into music?

A: I was drawn to music as a little girl! My dad plays the piano, so I was inspired by him to start taking piano lessons. A few years later, I started taking voice lessons and writing songs for fun. Music brings so much joy into my life. I’m grateful to be creating and releasing original songs now.

3) How would you describe the music you typically create?

A: My music is chill pop with some EDM inspiration and production. I describe my lyrics as honest and introspective. Music is one way I can explore myself, question my beliefs, and learn more about and connect with the world.

4) What was the inspiration behind 'Heart on Your Sleeve'?

A: At the time, I was starting a new relationship, and I was afraid to open up to this new guy. I was caught up between craving a fresh start with someone new and wanting to focus on self-growth. The relationship didn’t work out, but I learned a lot from that experience, and it led to a change in my perspective on love.

5) How did you come up with your stage name Naomi Sky?

A: I was on the phone with my dad, and we were brainstorming ideas for a stage name. I love nature, especially sunsets. My dad and I were going back and forth with different suggestions. He suggested Naomi Sky, and I fell in love with that idea. Naomi means “pleasantness” or “beauty” in Hebrew, and the sky reminds me of all the possibilities in the Universe. So, while the name Naomi Sky sounds beautiful, the meaning behind it was what really sold me on the idea.

6) What's next for you to close out 2021?

A: I’m currently working on a couple of projects. I have a full album in the works and a couple music videos on the way! I love spending time with my family during the holidays, so I will also be taking some time off to enjoy the festivities at the end of this year. I’m really excited for everyone to see and hear the creative projects I’m working on! The full album is predicted to be released in 2022, so be on the lookout for a few more single releases!
